ecotechsoft
a short history
ecotecsoft pty ltd was formed in July 2008 and is a multi-diciplinary company that provides energy engineering solutions of the highest quality. ecotechsoft is well versed in the areas of energy consulting, change behaviour management and educational programs that are designed to enthuse young people in the fields of science and engineering.
Consulting
ecotechsoft has the skills, capabilities and capacity to carry out energy efficiency opportunity assessments. These assessments can range from a quick walk through, right up to investment grade assessments.
The comapny has carried out in excess of 150 assessments ranging form small businesses right up to major govenment departments.
Some of the opportunity assessments suggested improvements of less than $10,00 where others led to multi million dollar projetcts.
At ecotechsoft we believe that measurement and verification must play a central role in any improvement scheme. Only by applying robust engineering principles while designing the M&V process can the customer be certain that the investment results in the expected returns.
Change behaviour
Even the most sophisticated engineering solution will fail if it is not supported by the users of the space. Every piece of control kit has an override and can be rendered useless by the push of a button.
ecotechsoft has designed a series of processes that can be applied to the work force at all levels, from the shop floor to the senior management.
As a rule of thumb, a well designed and implemented change behaviour program can match a well designed engineering solution in economic performance.
Contact ecotechsoft to discuss how we can design a stakeholders "buy in" strategy for you.
Education
As a professional engineer, Peter has been working in the field of energy efficiency for decades.
Peter is of the belief that our society is in great need of clever and well educated young people who can solve the energy problems of today and tomorrow.
Using a web enabled, real time metering system that assists educators to visualise electricity consumption in the classroom has been on Peter's mind for a long time.
Peter looks forward to transfer some of his knowledge and insights to the next generations.
